You read that right friends: if we don’t get money to Ryan Zinke’s campaign right now, he will not only lose his seat, but the “Republicans may never hold the majority in Congress again.”
If Ryan Zinke really thinks that the loss of his Congressional seat will means there will never been another Republican majority in the House of Representatives, shouldn’t he be focused on other things besides raising money? If things are that dire, he should instead be prepping for the impending fall of the Republic.
Unless, of course, he’s putting a lot of weight on that weasel word may. That is to say, the opposite also holds true: if Zinke looses his Congressional race, there may not not be a Republican majority in the House of Representatives again.
(For those of you from Washington DC, that means that he could loose his seat AND there could be still be a future Republican majority in the House of Representatives.)
If Zinke’s fervently-held belief is that the loss of his seat could lead to there never being a Republican majority in the House of Representatives ever again, he’s not fit for office. That’s just delusional.
On the other hand, perhaps being delusional is a prerequisite for becoming a Congresscritter.
